This is the SKPology Acceptable Use Policy.
It covers ALL SKP services.

 
  • Notification of modification to this document shall be posted at the main SKPology site.
  • SKPology reserves the right to modify this document at any time and at our discression.
  • SKP refers to any product or service sold or leased under the SKPology name or derivative there of.
  • SKPology refers to any user or client subscribed to SKPology services as a member.
 
  1. Hosted Content
    No SKPology member service shall display or have links to any of the following: Hacking, cracking, warez, phreaking, phishing, virii, racist, subversive, sexist, pornographic or morally ambiguous sites.
    Any site displaying or linking to this or similar information will be:
    • Warned and given 24 hours to remove the offensive material or link,
    • Suspended after this 24 hour period if no change has occured,
    • Deleted and no refund given if the site remains unchanged.

    This is managed totally at SKPology disgression.
    If in doubt ask if it is permitted.
    As a general rule: If you have to ask, it is not permitted.
  2. Any activity that causes adverse affects on service availability is not permitted and may result is service suspension. This includes, but is not limited too:
    Port scans, vulnerability testing, Phreaking, Phishing, any attack directly or indirectly on SKPology systems, any attack directly or indirectly on non-SKPology systems, activity that may lead to any of the above.

  3. Distributing or hosting content that is harmful or destructive including, but not limited too:
    viruses, Trojan Horses, worms, time bombs, eggdrops, cancel bots or any computer programming routines that may damage or interfere with any system, program, data or personal information.
  4. No SKPology service shall be used for the purpose of Unsolicited Mail. SKPology does not condone the use of spam and any member found to be using SKPology services to do this will be dealt with swiftly. If a report is lodged that SKPology services are being used for USM the following is the proceedure:
    • The member will be notified,
    • The information supplied will be gone through and verified against our records,
    • If the report is found to be valid the member will be asked to explain,
    • If no adequate response can be supplied the members account will be suspended pending criminal investigation. USM is a criminal offense in Australia and attracts a $200,000AUD fine per offense. You have been warned.
    • This policy is to be executed at the sole discression of SKPology. All reports will be treated equally. Any false accusations deliberately placed will be forwarded to the relevant authorities for defamitory prosecution.
    In short: Don't spam and don't falsely report spam.
  5. Excessive mass mailouts or concurrant sign-ins are not permitted.

  6. You must be aware that SKPology will assist any law enforcement agency to investigate criminal activity. SKPology shall under no circumstances do this lightly and only forward the information requested/log files etc if it is found to be relevant to the investigation.
    SKPology does not condone any violation of privacy and that includes law enforcement agencies. That having been said if it is found that illegal activity has occurred through the use of our services SKPology will assist completely in criminal prosecution.

  7. Adult Material
    • Any links to or displaying of pornographic material is forbidden on SKPology sites or services.
    • Any links to or displaying of underage pornographic material on SKPology sites or services is forbidden and will be logged and the relevant agencies notified.
    • Any suspected paedophile actvity on SKPology services will be reported to the relevant authorities.
    SKPology reserves the right to suspend service and access to service for any of these activities.

  8. Service availability.
    SKPology will not be held liable or charged in any way for any loss of data, site content, loss of service or variation in service quality. SKPology endeavours to supply a reliable and inexpensive solution however sometimes things are beyond our control (Force Majeure).
    If SKPOLOGY has warning then a variation in service will be reported.
  9. Fraud Content.
    Offering or distributing any fraudulent goods, services, schemes or promotions (e.g. - make money fast schemes, chain-letters, pyramid schemes), or submitting false data on any sign-up form, contract or online application through registration, or any fraudulent use of information obtained through the use of the SKPololgy services, including, but not limited too:
    use of credit card numbers, phone numbers, e-mail addresses, or home addresses is strictly prohibited.
    These activities will result in service termination.
  10. Content Requirement.
    The use of some SKPology services requires a certain amount of knowledge in the use of Internet Programming Languages, protocols and software. This knowledge will vary depending on the usage and content level of your website. You or your webmaster must have the knowledge necessary to maintain your website, as it is not SKPology's responsibility to advise, teach, supply or provide any such knowledge or customer support outside of the service agreed to you by SKPology.
    This having been said SKPology shall offer assistance (if time permits) or point the member in the right direction if a steep learning curve is required.

    This is at the sole discression of SKPology.

Terms Of Service   Acceptable Use Policy
